Internet People

Sometimes people on the Internet make me laugh. I was looking at the comments to this song, and several of them struck me as a bit funny. This conversation, for instance:
Person 1: is katrina muslim?
Person 2: no she is hindu she born in london and if u need more info about her u can send me a mesaage bye
Person 3: no dear katrina is a born tough muslim gal
Person 4: she is noooooooooot
There were a few people who mentioned their own romances, and these were generally met with a lot of interest:
Person 1: Hi 2 all its my story its real
Person 2: o my, did you get the girl in the end mate?
Person 3: did u get the girl in real?was exactly like this?i mean she was raised in london?what happened...wish u all the best
Sometimes I think the posts are rather cute, like this rather sweet, old-fashioned, filmi sort of statement:
Person (perhaps in reply to one of the statements in Hindi): no man you thinking is wrong about the girls ,a girl is a mother ,so don't say these words for a girl ,
if you love some one then don't say any thing wrong about her only belive on her
And sometimes, I'm just baffled. How did four people give this a thumbs up? Ewww!
Person: wannn dedicate the firt peice of this song to my lovee smoocheeeee...."Jab hum Budhee hoo jayeenee.." Wanna love you till my endd and even after that... Love youuu smooccheeeeee.. My juicyy....

A Story

The past few days at work I’ve been editing a book that occasionally makes me laugh, and groan, with some of the peculiar quirks in the writing. Since I can’t really publish the actual portions that struck me as unusual, I’ve decided to write you a story illustrating some of the oddities I came across. I feel like I should also mention that I did actually enjoy major portions of this book, and that the writing is much better in some parts of the book than in others. Here it goes:
Choice of Food, Attending Church Meetings, Obeying the Law. When I came home from class today I was as the saying goes, hungry enough to consume or devour a horse. I thought of my possibilities – cereal, mozzarella cheese, chocolate chips, finding a movie to watch, or perhaps to go to Institute. Too, I could call my mother. I am like the Persians. When a person finds themselves in this condition, you should always pick the first option; so I did. You may some-day find yourself in this situation, so you should role play with your roommate or spouse and children what to do in avoiding choosing unhealthy options, how to use time wisely, going to your church meetings, and in turning down immoral propositions. Your husband will appreciate that you took the initiative! Who hasn’t appreciated it when someone has helped them make wise choices of eating, movies, going to or attending church functions, etc. Every family needs to discuss these sorts of issues and doing activities like this that re-inforce and highlight good decisions. After I ate my cereal I went to Institute and it was lovely.
The End.

Incongruity

I like to get ready for bed while I listen to my randomized YouTube Bollywood playlist. Since this isn't ideal for Sundays, yesterday I started compiling a Sunday playlist as well. Yesterday I also set my screen saver to be all the pictures in the "My Pictures" file. The two didn't mix very well. If you're not expecting it, some of these can be a bit disconcerting when they accompany "Ave Maria," especially because most of them take up almost the whole screen:
